There are many web analytics tools that site owners can use. In fact, the most popular one that most people would know would be Google Analytics and it is free to use.

But i would prefer to use a self hosted or open source solution. Have tried both Matomo and Plausible Analytics and decided to go with Matomo for the following reasons.
